A complete wooden chess set, comprising an inlaid chessboard and two sets of hand-carved figural pieces. The board features contrasting dark and reddish-brown wood squares, surrounded by a dark, carved border, with a green felt-like material visible along the underside edge. The two sets of pieces are crafted from contrasting wood tones, one dark brown and the other reddish-brown, depicting stylized human-like figures in a non-Staunton style. No visible text or markings are present on the board or pieces.
