A Coalport Fine Bone China Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Limited Edition Plate, produced in 1977. This commemorative plate features a central black silhouette of Queen Elizabeth II in profile, adorned with a crown and necklace, surrounded by concentric bands and an ornate gold and brown decorative border. The plate is inscribed “HER MAJESTY QUEEN ELIZABETH II SILVER JUBILEE 1952 – 1977”, with “SILVER JUBILEE 1952-1977” repeated in smaller cartouches around the rim. An accompanying informational card identifies it as “The Queen’s Plate,” commissioned by Gortman to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of H.M. Queen Elizabeth II, noting its hand-made fine bone china material and a silhouette designed by Phyllis Arnold. This plate is part of a limited edition of 5,000 pieces. It is presented in its original off-white cardboard box with a blue satin-lined interior. The exterior box bears a handwritten number “3972”.
