Another New Auction
A pair of brass table lamps. The taller lamp, attributed to Stiffel and of Mid-Century Modern design, features a bright, polished gold finish with a columnar body comprising four spirally fluted ovoid sections on a round base. It is fitted with a standard screw-in socket, harp, and a compact fluorescent bulb; its power cord with a white two-prong plug is coiled at the base. The second, smaller lamp displays a more traditional or Victorian-revival style, with a duller gold finish on an ornate baluster-shaped body detailed with foliate relief, set on a four-footed, scrolled base. This lamp also has a standard screw-in socket, and its gray-toned power cord with a white two-prong plug is wrapped around its base. Both pieces appear to be in good, used condition with expected surface wear, and all main components are present, though their operational status is unconfirmed.
