Another New Auction
A set of twelve hand-colored glass magic lantern slides, presented in a cream-colored paper mat and an off-white painted wooden frame. Each circular slide is individually numbered from 1 to 12 in the upper left corner and depicts a sequential narrative featuring figures, possibly sailors, in period attire interacting with large barrels in an outdoor setting. The style and subject matter are indicative of the late 19th to early 20th century.
