Another New Auction
This lot comprises a mixed collection of vintage flatware, primarily crafted from silver-toned metal. Within a larger black velvet-lined presentation box, there is one ornate serving spoon marked “DIRIGOLD” and a set of six matching smaller spoons featuring an elaborate, possibly floral pattern. A smaller black velvet-lined case contains a three-piece set, consisting of a spoon, a fork, and a knife, all with cream or ivory-colored handles and a plainer design, suggesting an Art Deco or mid-century aesthetic. Additionally, a group of loose flatware includes numerous forks and several knives. Some of these items display patterns similar to the ornate spoons found in the larger case. Markings observed include “EPNS” (Electro-Plated Nickel Silver) on some handles, and one loose knife bears a “999” marking.
