Another New Auction
A framed ink or charcoal drawing by Henry Wilkinson, titled ‘Dog and a Bird’, depicting a vertically oriented seated poodle-type dog on light-toned paper, presented in a distressed light wood frame. Accompanying this lot are two other framed oil paintings. The first is a horizontally oriented oil painting depicting a snowy winter forest landscape with a pinkish sky, executed with impasto, signed ‘Cadbury 16/10/45 S.N.SK…’, and set within a dark wood frame featuring a gold-toned beaded inner border. The second is a horizontally oriented oil painting, rendered with thick impasto, portraying three figures from behind observing a landscape, housed in a multi-toned, rustic wood frame.
