Another New Auction
An original ink or charcoal drawing on paper by Philip William May (1864-1903). The artwork depicts a caricature of two figures in late 19th or early 20th-century attire, with a man holding an umbrella beside a woman wearing an elaborate hat. The drawing is signed “Phil May” in the upper right quadrant. It is presented within a black frame with a gold inner trim and a dark mat, under glass.
