Another New Auction
A group of Robertsons Golly Band musician figures. Each painted composition figurine depicts a caricatured Black musician in a style reminiscent of blackface iconography, dressed in brightly colored attire. The figures play distinct instruments: drums, an accordion, a wind instrument (possibly a saxophone or clarinet), and a stringed instrument (resembling a banjo or guitar). Each figure stands on a rectangular base, with ‘ROBERTSON’ clearly visible in raised lettering on the front of each base.
