Another New Auction
A pair of early 20th-century Silver fob medals. The first is a circular medallion with a decorative bail, featuring a central raised rose gold-toned shield within an engraved border. Its reverse is engraved with “L. S. R. U.”, “1926-7.”, and “L. BENTLEY.”, and bears visible hallmarks for sterling silver, a Birmingham assay office mark, a date letter, and a “925” fineness mark, along with an “FTF” maker’s mark. The second is an ornate shield-shaped fob with a crown-like top and decorative bail, showcasing blue enamel surrounding a central rose gold-toned script monogram, likely “M.C.”. Its reverse is engraved with “1911.” and also bears hallmarks for sterling silver, a “T.F.” maker’s mark, and a date letter. Both items are confirmed to be Silver.
