Another New Auction
A set of Allermuir ‘Scoop’ stacking chairs, comprising at least four utilitarian stacking chairs. Each chair is constructed with curved plywood seat and backrests featuring a light-toned wood veneer and a clear finish, supported by a tubular metal frame with a grey painted or powder-coated finish. The design is characteristic of mid-to-late 20th-century institutional or school furniture. Fasteners secure the plywood components to the metal frame. No manufacturer’s markings or text are discernible on the chairs themselves.
