A Bob Hunter ‘Wrenman’ oak wall-mounted shelf, crafted by Bob Hunter of Thirlby, North Yorkshire. The rustic-style piece features a miniature five-bar gate motif across the front of a small base shelf. A carved wren is perched on the upper left of the curved, textured back panel. The reverse side is fitted with a brass-toned keyhole hanging bracket and retains the original adhesive label identifying the maker as ‘BOB HUNTER Cabinet Maker, Wood Carver’ of ‘PEAR TREE HOUSE, THIRLBY, THIRSK, NORTH YORKSHIRE YO7 2DJ,’ along with a telephone number.
