Another New Auction
A modern gold-tone metal candelabra by Tarja Lövsjö Kristall, Mantorp, Sweden, featuring clear faceted crystal accents, presented in its original black box. The lot also includes four framed artworks: a large print depicting two dogs in a window, executed in a late 19th to early 20th-century style, set in a dark wood frame; a black and white photographic portrait of a woman, likely mid-20th century, housed in an ornate gold-tone frame; a contemporary-style watercolor print titled “DOWN TO THE SEA” by Faye Whittall, numbered 1686/2450, in a lighter frame; and a contemporary-style watercolor print depicting an architectural landscape titled “Norris Steps, Holmfirth” by J. Bond, in a lighter frame. Further included is a rectangular metal lidded box, possibly a strongbox or trunk, with an East Asian-inspired decorative finish, a front clasp, and a top handle. Its interior contains plastic-wrapped papers. Completing the lot is a collection of eight small prints or postcards depicting vintage automobiles.
