Another New Auction
A 72-piece set of Czechoslovakian porcelain dinnerware and teaware by Thun, featuring a traditional style with a prominent floral pattern of red, pink, and yellow roses amidst green foliage, all accented with gilt rims. The pattern is visually consistent with the widely recognized ‘Old Country Roses’ design. The extensive collection includes various plates (dinner, soup, dessert), serving platters, open and lidded serving bowls, a gravy boat with an underplate, a teapot, a creamer, a lidded sugar bowl, numerous teacups with saucers, and a decorative shoe-shaped vessel. One piece bears a visible backstamp for ‘Thun’ with a crown motif above ‘TK’, and the origin ‘CZECHOSLOVAKIA’, along with the number ’23’. This backstamp indicates a production period between 1918 and 1992.
