Another New Auction
A collection of Mason’s Ashworth’s Ironstone Chinoiserie wares, comprising a large jug, two smaller jugs, two small vases, and four decorative plates of various sizes and shapes. The pieces display two distinct Chinoiserie-inspired patterns: one characterized by vibrant floral motifs with exotic birds, primarily in red, pink, green, and gold tones, and another depicting elaborate landscape scenes featuring pagodas, bridges, and figures in a multi-color palette including blues, oranges, greens, and gold. Crafted from ironstone, several items are displayed on or adjacent to their original dark green boxes, which bear a gold crown motif and the text “Mason’s Ironstone.”
