Another New Auction
This mixed lot comprises an eclectic collection of domestic decorative items. It is presented within a green storage crate marked “Chiswick Auctions Ltd.” The contents include a collection of ceramics and porcelain, such as stacked decorative plates with patterned rims (some blue and gilt, others mint green and gilt) and a group of teacups with saucers. Also present is a collection of clear glass drinking vessels, including goblets, tumblers, and cut-glass examples. Miscellaneous items include a white UK-style electrical plug, a small brass-toned object, a dark carved wooden figure, a small lidded clear pot, a red wooden picture frame, and a multi-colored carved wooden mask on a base. Above the crate are two table lamps: one with a brass-toned spiral base and a cream conical shade, and another with a clear twisted base and a light blue pleated fabric shade. A third matching light blue pleated fabric shade is also included. The styles represented range from patterned porcelain suggestive of early to mid-20th-century aesthetics to more contemporary lamp designs.
