Another New Auction
A collection of approximately 25 contemporary regional guidebooks, primarily published by AA. The lot includes two vertical stacks and three individual items. Each guide features a photographic landscape image on its paper or card cover, with titles distinctly color-coded by region, such as ‘Devon’ (red), ‘The Lake District’ (dark green), and ‘Staffordshire’ (orange). The majority are designated as ’30 Short Walks In’ or ’30 Walks In’ for various UK locations, including Cornwall, Yorkshire Dales, and Snowdonia, with some specifying ‘Walks of 2 to 10 Miles.’ Also present are ’20 Walks In’ guides for ‘The Peak District’ and ‘North Yorkshire,’ and one ’20 Cycle Rides In’ guide for ‘Lake District & The Northwest.’ Three guides in the foreground are marked with a ‘WARNING! WALKING CAN SERIOUSLY IMPROVE YOUR HEALTH’ label, with one also displaying a red circular ‘SPECIAL OFFER £2.99’ sticker.
