Another New Auction
A varied collection of decorative objects. The primary item is a Beswick ceramic horse figurine, depicted in a dynamic prancing pose, finished in a dark glaze. The collection also includes a group of Asian-inspired blue and white ceramic pieces, comprising a lidded mug, a teapot with a vibrant dragon and phoenix motif, and a smaller, similarly decorated vase. Accompanying these are three anthropomorphic rabbit figurines in a style reminiscent of Beatrix Potter, and a small silver-toned animal figurine. Further items include a realistic Border Collie dog figurine on a wooden base, and a set of four light-colored carved stone or alabaster vessels (two vases, two bowls). The lowest tier presents a small black and white cow figurine, a group of anthropomorphic bear figurines dressed in clothing with a small accompanying fox-like figure, and a set of five wooden toadstool-shaped decorative items with painted spotted caps (four red, one yellow). Two of the mushroom bases bear the English inscription “Rudding Park.”
