A framed, hand-embroidered textile souvenir, identified as a form of Sailor’s Woolwork, dating to 1948. Below, an embroidered image of Mount Fuji is framed by a floral garland and a decorative bow. Inscriptions include “IN MEMORY OF MY STAY IN JAPAN” at the top, and “(WAKUNI) 1948 JA PAN” at the bottom, indicating its origin or subject location as Iwakuni, Japan. The piece is presented under glass in a simple black frame.
