Another New Auction
A vintage industrial master clock, housed in a rectangular wooden case with a glass front, revealing a pendulum and internal clockwork mechanism. The functional black and white dial, marked “INDUCTA” and “SWISS MADE,” features a main minute/hour track, a 60-second sub-dial, and two smaller geared indicator dials. Visible metal plaques inside confirm it was “THE PROPERTY OF THE YORKSHIRE ELECTRICITY BOARD” and “SUPPLIED BY LANDIS & GYR LTD ACTON W3. 8XS.,” with additional labels providing instructions for “PENDULUM REGULATION” and specifications for “Secondary clocks connected in” and “Signal circuits.” The clock exhibits an aged, utilitarian style likely from the mid-20th century.
