Another New Auction
A hand-painted polychrome ceramic footed two-handled cup or chalice, featuring a glaze decoration with stylized organic motifs, predominantly leaves or abstract foliage, in shades of red, brown, and green on a white ground. The exterior of the foot is inscribed with the date “1987” and “12 MAY”. The underside of the foot contains several markings, including blue handwritten initials “AW R.”, a distinct gold/yellow script signature or mark, and a smaller blue/black symbol.
