Another New Auction
A pair of vintage camel bone and brass decorated jewelry trinket boxes. Each box is constructed from panels of mottled camel bone, displaying natural variations from off-white to dark brown. Both feature brass-toned metal hardware, including decorative banding, hinges, and ornamental clasps that resemble stylized animal heads. The larger box’s lid is adorned with a pierced metal band featuring a scrolling or grapevine motif, while the smaller box has three embossed, tear-shaped metal plaques on its lid. The interiors are lined with velvet, royal blue in the larger box and deep red in the smaller.
