This lot presents eight circular commemorative medals, predominantly British royal in theme, dating from the early to mid-20th century. Fashioned from a silver-toned base metal, the medals feature various styles including crowned portrait busts of monarchs such as King Edward VII (1902), King George V, King George VI, Queen Mary, and Queen Elizabeth, alongside architectural and allegorical scenes. Visible inscriptions clearly identify events and figures, including “KING EDWARD VII MEDAL 1902 LONDON COUNTY COUNCIL”, “KING GEORGE V QUEEN MARY”, “KING GEORGE VI QUEEN ELIZABETH”, and “TO COMMEMORATE THE CORONATION OF KING GEORGE VI & QUEEN ELIZABETH WESTMINSTER ABBEY 1937”; some also bear the marking “BRITISH MADE” and one depicts “BRITISH EMPIRE”. Three of the medals retain their original red, white, and blue striped ribbons.
