ANOTHER GREAT
A group of eight British Royal commemorative medals and two small fabric pin-on flags, primarily dating to the early to mid-20th century and reflecting British Royal themes. The collection includes medals commemorating “The Coronation of THEIR MAJESTIES KING Edward VII and Queen Alexandra June 26 1902,” “TO COMMEMORATE THEIR SILVER JUBILEE KING GEORGE V & QUEEN MARY MAY 6TH 1935,” and “COMMEMORATION OF THE CORONATION OF THEIR MAJESTIES KING GEORGE V & QUEEN MARY CROWNED 1911” (one specifically for the “ROYAL BURGH OF KINGHORN”). Another medal features “H.M. KING GEORGE VI. H.M. QUEEN ELIZABETH.” The medals are crafted from either silver-toned or gold-toned metal. Several medals retain their original red, white, and blue fabric ribbons, some secured with small safety pins. Two distinct small fabric flags are also present.
