ANOTHER GREAT
A bronzed metal commemorative medal, presented in a red, velvet-lined box. The obverse depicts two male runners participating in a relay race, with the words “RELAY RACE” inscribed above and below. The reverse features a central crest displaying the royal cipher “ER” (Elizabeth Regina) beneath a crown, encircled by partially visible text, including “ROYAL ENGINEERS,” all within a decorative wreath. Further inscription on the reverse reads “RSME 1963” and “4×440 REL,” indicating an award for a 4×440 relay race, likely from the Royal School of Military Engineering, in 1963.
