A Royal Mint Silver Medal commemorating the Centenary of the Births, Deaths & Marriages Registration Acts, 1837-1937. The silver-colored metal medal features a dual profile portrait of a man and a woman on one side, and a stylized cross motif on the other. Both sides are encircled by the legible text “BIRTH · MARRIAGE · DEATH”. It is presented in its original dark blue textured case, lined with blue velvet and cream satin. The interior of the lid bears a gold embossed Royal Mint crest and “ROYAL MINT” text. The exterior of the case is gold-stamped with “B.D. AND M.”, “CENTENARY”, and “1837 – 1937.”.
