ANOTHER GREAT
A collection of eight circular medallions and one cross-shaped medal, all struck in bronze or a dark, patinated copper alloy, predominantly from the mid-20th century. One medallion is engraved “AWARDED TO C. D. SMITH SEPT 1954,” and another bears “ESTABLISHED 1891.” The cross-shaped medal is marked “BRONZE” and “CROSS.” Most items feature a central compass rose design, while others depict a nautical scene. Visible text includes “ROYAL LIFE SAVING SOCIETY” and the Latin phrases “QUEMCUNQUE VIDEBIS AD VITAM” or “QUEMCUMQUE VIDERIS AD VITAM.”
