ANOTHER GREAT
A Mid-Century Studio Pottery multi-spout vase by Shinon Pottery. This stoneware vessel features a wide, rounded base from which nine funnel-shaped spouts emerge, arranged circularly around a central, slightly taller spout, totaling ten openings. The piece is finished with a rustic, matte glaze exhibiting an off-white or cream ground heavily streaked with vertical drips of a muted blue-grey. The base is unglazed, revealing the coarse stoneware body with impressed horizontal ridges, and bears a clear stamped mark reading “Shinon Pottery” accompanied by a stylized ‘U’ maker’s mark.
