A pair of mid-20th century figural sculptures by G. Ruggeri, depicting dynamic dancers in a Blackamoor style. Each figure, a male and a female, is rendered in a glossy black finish, adorned with gold-colored jewelry and red and gold costuming, including a ruffled skirt for the female and a loincloth for the male. They stand on a beige oval base, likely cast from a composite material. The base clearly displays the molded signature “G. RUGGERI” and a triangular mark featuring a crown, an abstract symbol, and the numbers “6/B”.
