Buyer's premium:

A group of approximately twelve assorted decorative spoons, primarily styled as souvenir or collectible items. The collection features a range of figural, architectural, and ornate designs on their handles, including classical figures, a lion rampant, a windmill, a hedgehog, a bird, and a prominent orange spherical finial. Some stems exhibit twisted or fluted patterns. The spoons are predominantly crafted from silver or silver-plated metal, with some showcasing gilt-washed bowls and one featuring a vibrant enameled scene. One bowl is engraved “ALLIED GULF VICTORY 1991,” dating that piece to the late 20th century. Another enameled bowl is inscribed “PRAHA” (Prague), indicating its origin as a souvenir from the Czech capital. Visible hallmarks on one spoon suggest sterling silver, with identifiable marks including what appears to be a maker’s mark “P B & S C”, a lion passant, an anchor (likely Birmingham Assay Office), a date letter, and “W F H O”.
