A Royal Doulton glazed porcelain figurine, ‘Ko Ko’ (HN 2898), dated 1979. The piece depicts a male figure, styled in a Japanese manner, wearing a blue and beige kimono with black and white motifs, and a top knot hairstyle. He holds an unrolled scroll with vertical lines of Japanese calligraphy, which translates to “Wait, there’s a bird’s nest in this tree,” and a green implement in his other hand. The base is marked “MADE IN ENGLAND” with the Royal Doulton crown and lion logo. It is accompanied by its original Royal Doulton box.
