ANOTHER GREAT
An English Elliott wooden cased mantel or desk clock. This traditional-style clock features a dark-stained rectangular wooden case resting on four brass-toned spherical feet. The front presents a glass-covered cream-colored dial framed by a brass-toned metal bezel and decorative spandrels, displaying Roman numeral hour markers and Arabic minute/second markers with ornate black hands. Visible text on the dial includes “THE SHETT CLOCK,” “MADE IN ENGLAND,” “FOREIGN PATS PENDING,” and “J.S.M.LTD.” The reverse side shows a black metal access panel further marked “MADE IN ENGLAND” and with a stylized ‘E’ logo.
