A footed, two-handled ceramic cup or tazza, likely crafted from earthenware or maiolica. The piece showcases vibrant hand-painted decoration with stylized foliate or floral motifs in a palette of deep red, brown-gold, and olive green against a pale, off-white background. The rim and handles feature additional decorative banding and patterned accents. Inscribed on the circular foot in white letters against a red band are “1987” and “12 MAY”, indicating a creation date of May 12, 1987. The underside of the foot bears further markings, including the initials “ALW”, “F.R.”, and a distinctive stylized signature or mark rendered in gold.
