A collection of 11 vintage sporting medals, badges, and pendants. Primarily composed of various base metals such as brass, bronze, and darker alloys, many pieces feature vibrant enamel work. The designs encompass bas-relief figures of archers and athletes, ornate patterns, targets, heraldry, and a swimmer, indicative of various athletic achievements. Notable examples include an ‘ESSEX COUNTY CYCLING & ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION’ blue enamel medal, consistent with ‘Vintage Enamel and Metal Badge’ descriptions found in market research for similar ‘Essex County’ sporting associations, and a shield-shaped badge marked ‘C.G.A.A.’. A bronze-toned medal bears the partial word ‘ASSOCIATION’. Two of the medals are suspended from fabric ribbons, one in the French tricolor and another in green and white.
