An antique oval-framed devotional item featuring a crucifix enclosed behind domed glass. The dark-toned carved wooden frame is adorned with continuous floral and leaf motifs. Inside, a patinated metal corpus of Jesus Christ is affixed to a flared, gold-toned metal cross, set against a draped reddish-brown velvet background. A small rectangular plaque above the corpus displays the Latin inscription ‘INRI’ (Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum).
