A commemorative wall plaque from 1975, featuring a silver-toned metal relief depicting an early steam locomotive superimposed with a more modern, streamlined train, mounted on a rectangular dark wood backing. A black metal plate below the relief reads: “1825 1975 THIS PLAQUE COMMEMORATING THE 150TH ANNIVERSARY OF BRITISH PASSENGER TRAINS WAS CAST BY B.R.E.L. AT SWINDON & IS NO 340 OF A LIMITED ISSUE OF 3000.”
