A vintage Indian engraved brass desk gong set, comprising a circular gong, an ornate scrolled stand, and a wooden mallet. The stand, with its pedestal base and arching frame, and the gong are crafted from a polished silver-toned brass, featuring extensive engraved floral and foliate patterns. The gong is suspended by a black cord. The wooden mallet has a turned handle and a spherical head, resting in integrated holders on the stand. The overall style exhibits an Orientalist or Middle Eastern aesthetic.
