An 1847 Rogers Bros. ‘Remembrance’ pattern silverplate three-compartment serving platter, featuring a central embossed stylized foliate design often referred to as ‘Tree of Life’. The oblong dish is crafted from a silver-toned metal with an ornate, scrolled, and shell-motif border. The reverse is marked ‘Remembrance’ in script, above ‘1847 ROGERS BROS.’, a boxed ‘IS’, and the number ‘9857’.
