ANOTHER GREAT
A large, antique-style Illustrated Family Bible, published by D. Appleton & Co. The book features a dark, possibly black or deep brown, leather binding with a distinct red/maroon spine label, all extensively decorated with elaborate gilt tooling on the covers, spine, and page edges, consistent with a 19th-century, likely Victorian, period. The internal title page clearly identifies it as an “ILLUSTRATED FAMILY BIBLE.” The internal page block appears relatively intact.
