ANOTHER GREAT
A collection of philatelic items housed within two ‘Collecta’ branded First Day Cover and Stamp Albums. Each album is contained within a red cardboard slipcase, prominently marked “the collector’s choice…” and “COVER ALBUM”. The black ring-bound albums contain numerous postage stamps, commemorative stamp sheets, and several First Day Covers. Visible themes on the stamps include flora, fauna (such as fish), and various architectural structures, notably St. Paul’s Cathedral. Specific First Day Covers are dated, including “29th JULY 1981” for “THE ROYAL WEDDING STAMPS,” and “24 APRIL 1980” for “Youth Organisations” and “BRITISH THEATRE” issues, some bearing addresses for “MR DAVID L. FURNISS” in West Yorkshire. A commemorative item referencing “1840-1990” is also present. The items are composed primarily of paper and plastic.
