ANOTHER GREAT
Comprising a Royal Air Force Golden Jubilee Souvenir Book, 1918-1968, a softcover publication. Also included are several other Royal Air Force softcover books and magazines. Further items in the lot include a dark blue wool beret, a pair of wire-rimmed spectacles in a worn black leather case, and a silver-toned metal flip-top lighter. A pewter hip flask, dated December 1989, is inscribed “PRESENTED TO GREG LAWTON FROM RMC AND ALL MESS MEMBERS CPL. D. MESS 3/5/16 ROYAL SUSSEX (QVO)”, and features an embossed Royal Sussex Regiment badge with the motto “QUID VULT VULT”. A small dark leather wallet or coin purse adorned with various embroidered crests is partially contained in an “AVONCLIFF Leatherg…” box. The collection is completed by a wooden wall plaque displaying a military crest with a blue bird and the inscription “13 AB ASSAULT SUPPORT REGIMENT R.A.”.
