The two larger shelves feature extensive openwork carving, possibly depicting floral or foliate motifs, finished in a dark stain. The three complete spoon racks are of a simpler design, with slots for display spoons, crafted from a lighter stained wood. All pieces exhibit an Asian-inspired decorative style.
