A collection of United Kingdom philatelic material, comprising one large black ring-bound stamp album, multiple smaller spiral-bound albums, and bundles of loose stamps and First Day Covers (FDCs). The collection includes various British commemorative issues and FDCs primarily from the 1970s and early 1980s. Themes featured include “European Architectural Heritage Year 1975,” “Railways 1825-1975,” “The Telephone,” “Jane Austen 1775-1975,” “Christmas 1975,” “Great Reformers,” “London Landmarks,” and commemorative issues for the British Royal Family, including the Queen Mother’s 80th Birthday. Many covers are postmarked and addressed, frequently to “Mr. David L. Furniss” in West Yorkshire. The material is primarily paper with plastic sleeves and album bindings.
