ANOTHER GREAT
A lot comprising two British Railways peaked uniform caps. The first cap, commonly known as a ‘Grease Top’ hat, is constructed from dark fabric with a glossy black peak. It features an embroidered badge on the front displaying ‘BRITISH RAILWAYS’ in gold text on a blue oval with a red border. A white sticker with ‘1585’ is visible on its peak. The second cap is entirely made of a dark navy blue fabric, including its stiffened peak, and bears a rectangular embroidered badge with a red background and a white stylized ‘double arrow’ logo, characteristic of later British Rail branding. Both caps show visible signs of wear and surface dust consistent with their age and intended use.
