ANOTHER GREAT
An antique wood wagon wheel hub, cylindrical in form, crafted from dark-stained wood and reinforced with dark metal bands. The piece features a prominent solid metal top with a central circular opening. The main body is composed of vertical wooden staves forming an open-slatted section above a solid wooden base. A metal eyelet, secured by a single screw, is attached to the upper side. An incised mark resembling a ‘W’ is discernible on the upper wooden body, beneath the metal top. The piece exhibits a rich, dark patina.
