ANOTHER GREAT
A pair of WW1 Trench Art brass artillery shell casings. Each cylindrical, open-top casing is extensively decorated with textured repoussé or chased work, depicting stylized naturalistic motifs. One features what appears to be a deer or similar animal, alongside foliage, while the other displays similar foliate designs. The top edges are irregularly shaped, suggesting a crimped or fluted finish. The bases feature central primer holes and stamped markings, including “15” and “128” visible on separate items, alongside other fainter numerals. One item also bears a modern white label with “1001.”
