This collection comprises approximately a dozen antique or vintage straight razors, along with associated sharpening implements and cases. The razors feature diverse scale materials including bone, ivory, dark wood, and possibly bakelite, paired with steel blades. Many razors are presented in their original rectangular cases, crafted from wood or paper-covered cardboard. Accompanying the razors are several sharpening tools, including a wooden stropping paddle and cased sharpening stones. Visible textual markings, notably “SOLINGEN” on some blades and cases, indicate a likely German origin.
