ANOTHER GREAT
The lot comprises five decorative items. The primary piece is a Carlton Ware ‘Apple Blossom’ large triangle dish, Shape 1617/9, featuring a pale yellow ground with an applied green floral sprig design, bearing a sticker “3923”. Also included is a white ceramic gravy boat with its matching underplate, ornately decorated with extensive gold trim and a pink rose motif, also marked “3923”. A red, egg-shaped, hinged trinket box, possibly enamel on metal, stands on three feet, featuring elaborate gold scrollwork and inscribed “САНКТ-ПЕТЕРБУРГЪ” (Saint Petersburg) on its base. Further included is a small, white octagonal ceramic dish, commemorating “THE FLORENCE NIGHTINGALE TRAINING SCHOOL 1860 1960” with a central blue starburst emblem. The collection is completed by a small square hinged box with a dark metal base and a white lid adorned with a purple violet floral design.
