ANOTHER GREAT
A collection of Royal Mail First Day Covers, dating primarily from the mid-1980s, housed in two dark blue binders. Visible examples include covers commemorating “The Royal Wedding” of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson (23 July 1986, postmarked Leeds), “Christmas 1984 The Nativity” (20 November 1984, postmarked Wakefield West Yorks), “St John Ambulance” (16 June 1987, postmarked Leeds), and “Industry Year” (14 January 1986, postmarked Wakefield West Yorks). Each cover consists of a pictorial envelope with British postage stamps (denominations visible such as 17p, 22p, 31p, 34p) cancelled on their first day of issue, predominantly addressed to Mr. David L. Furniss of Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. The items are individually housed within clear plastic protective sleeves inside the binders.
