ANOTHER GREAT
A large collection of vintage Japanese Kutani bone china tea and coffee wares. This extensive group comprises multiple teapots/coffee pots, creamers, lidded sugar bowls, numerous cups with accompanying saucers, and a stack of small plates. The white glazed bone china bodies are extensively decorated with two distinct scenic motifs: one depicting mountainous landscapes, prominently featuring Mt. Fuji, traditional architecture, and boats rendered in polychrome enamels and gilt; and another with stylized gold trees and structures on a monochromatic landscape. Gold trim accents rims, handles, and finials on all pieces. The base of at least one saucer is marked “KUTANI” in red.
