ANOTHER GREAT
A traditional wall or mantel clock, featuring a dark-stained wooden case with an arched pediment and a stepped base. The upper section houses a brass-toned clock face with ornate black hands and black Roman numerals, displaying the phrase “Tempus Fugit” (Latin for “Time Flies”) at the top and “Rapport” centrally below the hands. A metal winding key rests on the lower right of the face. Below the main dial, a lower glass-fronted section reveals a brass-toned pendulum with a circular bob, and a small gold-toned plaque bearing stylized text, possibly “HIQIH,” is visible at the bottom. The clock’s style suggests a classical or revival period.
